Get Artsy

There is nothing quite like a homemade art project to get your little Picasso excited. Try finger painting! All you need is some paper, finger paints, and a toddler who isn’t afraid to get a little dirty. Try placing cardboard boxes or trash bags down on the floor so the mess is contained.

Get Crafty

Toddlers love to play with new toys, but that doesn’t mean you have to make a trip to the store. Look around for items that can be recycled into toys. Try making a pair of binoculars with toilet paper rolls and string, or create an animal mask with paper plates and paint. 

Get Creative

Think about some of your toddler’s favorite outdoor activities and try to recreate them inside. If going on walks to discover new things is something your toddler enjoys, put together a scavenger hunt in your home. If playing on the jungle gym is their favorite thing to do, rearrange the furniture and have fun playing pretend.
